Celebrate Nonprofits Making a Difference at the Another Door Opens “Fun Raiser”: A Red-Carpet Affair
LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL – Get ready for an evening of glamour, inspiration, and community giving! On Saturday, November 28, 2026, Common Ground Community Development will host the Another Door Opens “Fun Raiser”: A Red Carpet Affair from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (doors open at 5:45 PM).
This special gala marks the official launch of AnotherDoorOpens.com™, a platform dedicated to highlighting local non-profits and community changemakers. Founded by Krista Martinelli – who published AroundWellington® for 20 years before pivoting to full-time non-profit spotlighting – the new venture embraces a favorite motto: When one door closes, another door opens!
An Unforgettable Evening
Guests will enjoy VIP valet parking upon arrival and step into an engaging, multi-sensory program featuring:
- Gourmet Hors d’Oeuvres: Enjoy passed appetizers served throughout the night.
- Live Performances & Presentations: Experience live music, inspiring poetry, multimedia showcases, and a silent auction.
- Interactive Non-Profit Trivia: Test your knowledge of the stories featured on AnotherDoorOpens.com for opportunities to win curated prizes.
Direct Support for Community Non-Profits
Giving back is built directly into the evening’s festivities:
- 50% of Ticket Sales to One Non-Profit: Half of all ticket proceeds will go straight to a participating organization drawn live during the gala raffle. Approximately 25 non-profits currently featured on AnotherDoorOpens.com are automatically entered into the raffle.
- 50/50 Charity Raffle: A second drawing will benefit another featured non-profit organization. Both winning organizations will be announced before the night concludes.
