Car wash company’s unique fundraising model gives nonprofits, schools and community organizations 40% of proceeds from dedicated fundraising events
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 20, 2026) —Soapy Joe’s, a family-owned business with 27 locations and growing serving San Diego County known for its commitment to quality service and community engagement, celebrates the organizations making a difference in their communities year-round through its Soapy Joe’s Force for Good fundraising program. Since launching in 2025, the program has helped schools, youth sports programs, nonprofits and other community organizations raise money through dedicated fundraising events at Soapy Joe’s locations.
Through Force for Good, participating organizations schedule a fundraising event with Soapy Joe’s, inviting their supporters to participate. Forty percent of proceeds generated through the event go directly to the participating organization.
The program has continued to gain momentum, with more organizations scheduling fundraisers each month. Year to date in 2026, Force for Good has generated:
- More than $25,000 in fundraiser sales
- More than 100 fundraising events scheduled
The model is similar to fundraising programs offered at many restaurants, but Soapy Joe’s has brought the concept to the car wash industry, creating an opportunity for community organizations to raise funds while providing their supporters with an everyday service.

As Soapy Joe’s continues to expand the Force for Good program, the company expects the number of participating organizations and fundraising events to continue growing.
